JOHN sells inspected used tires for cars, SUVs, pickups and work trucks across the Houston area. Every tire is checked by hand before it goes on the site: we measure the tread in several places, look over the sidewalls and bead for cuts, bulges and plugs, check the inside liner, and read the DOT date so you know how old the tire is. Tires that fail don’t get sold.
Each tire is graded A, B or C by how much tread is left. Grade A tires are close to new. Grade B tires have about half their tread. Grade C tires are safe and usable but getting low, the right pick when price matters most. You see the grade, the tread depth and the price before you buy.

How much does a used tire cost in Houston?
It depends on the size and how much tread is left. A common passenger size usually costs far less than a new tire, and big truck tires cost more. Our free price check shows the fair price range for your exact size and grade, using current Houston-area prices.
What do grades A, B and C mean?
The grade tells you how much tread is left. A is close to new, B has about half its tread, and C is usable but getting low. Every listing shows the grade and the measured tread depth.
Are used tires safe?
A good used tire is safe when it has enough tread, no damage and isn’t too old. We check every tire for tread depth, sidewall cuts, bulges, plugs and liner damage, and we read the DOT date. Tires with safety problems are never sold.
Do you deliver the same day?
Yes. Orders over $100 get free same-day delivery across most of the Houston area when you order before the daily cutoff. You can also pick up at our yard.
What if a tire is defective?
If a tire you bought from us won’t hold air, separates, or has damage we missed, bring it back with your receipt within the warranty period and we’ll replace it or refund what you paid for that tire.
